About the site
Tucked at the end of a quiet lane, this camping and glamping site captures the feeling of Cornwall's country relaxation, far from the buzz of busy resorts. Set in 15 acres of Cornish land, you'd never guess it's close to the A30 with excellent access to many sandy beaches and attractions. It's within easy reach of the Camel Trail cycle route and other bike paths (bikes are available to hire). Onsite, head on one of the many nature walks around the farm, collect eggs from the chickens or go fishing for tiddlers in the pond (you'll need to show an EA licence). This family-friendly farm is a truly peaceful haven, not to mention the incredible stargazing and the Cornish sunsets. There are a set of pitches on grass and hardstanding with optional 10 amp electric. Or you can go back to basics in a wild meadow - the more adventurous option! Besides camping, the site offers a host of furnished glamping options from unfurnished and furnished bell tents, Lotus Belle tents and glamping cabins equipped with all you need. Modern shared facilities are nearby. The unfurnished bell tents sleep up to four, guests should bring all the usual camping equipment including beds, bedding and cooking equipment. Try a stylish stay in a bell tent (sleeps four) with two futon beds and a king-size bed with a memory foam mattress. Although there is no electricity, these tents have solar panels for lighting and phone charging. Choose a bell tent in the main camping field that overlooks the play area or the more adventurous wild meadow, just a short walk away from the main field. Located in the wild meadows, the two luxurious adult-only Lotus Belle Tents are perfect for couples (sleeps two). These offer a double bed with a memory foam mattress, bedding and an electric kettle, toaster, and an induction hob. You can also stay in one of the two beautiful glamping cabins (sleeps four). Spacious but cosy, the cabins are fully equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay. This includes central heating, a well-equipped kitchen, dining area and ensuite bathrooms. Finally, there's Dolly, the vintage caravan. Over 50 years old and a lifetime of adventure, Dolly sleeps two comfortably for a quirky getaway. Pets are welcome on pitches and in the accommodation, but sorry, they cannot stay in glamping bell tents unless by prior agreement.
The site is open year round for camping, touring and glamping cabins, with bell tents and the vintage caravan available between May and September. Stay from £18/night for 2 people (2-night minimum).
