Please note that this is a pop-up campsite, open for a limited number of days each year.

Lepe Beach Campsite is situated just 150 yards from Lepe Beach with stunning views of the Solent for virtually everyone. Positioned right behind Lepe Country Park and the brand new visitor centre, the campsite is a gorgeous tents-only site for back-to-basics family camping holidays. Although there isn't an official shop onsite, the campsite does offer fire pit hire and firewood for sale plus ice lollies and a few beach toys for the children.

Why choose Lepe Beach Campsite

Settled in-between stunning Lepe Beach and exciting Lepe Country Park

Spacious grass pitches, with equipped ready tents and fire pits/BBQs welcome

Stunning views of the coast and the New Forest surrounding the site

About the site

The site is in an ideal location with superb views of the Solent and a private entrance to itself, which is directly opposite the Isle of Wight. The beach is safe for bathing when the tide isn't turning, exploring when the tide is out and is very popular with local fishermen looking for Bass. Generously sized, level and well kept grass pitches mean that you'll never feel crammed in, while the site's pre-erected ready tents are perfect for those who prefer not to pitch their own. Being one of the only campsites in the New Forest that actually allow campfires, the campsite offers something quite unique. Helpful onsite staff provide peace of mind and a wealth of local knowledge during your stay at Lepe Beach plus there are plenty of amenities in the local village of Blackfield. Unfortunately the site cannot accept dogs, caravans or motorhomes.

The site is open during May half term, weekends from 5th June to 19th July, then from 24th July to 31st August. Stay from £35/night for 2 people (2-night minimum).

Ready Tent - Ready TentsAug 2025

It's a wonderful place. So close to the beach. We'll run. Very clean. Very quiet. I hate eco loo's but they manage them very well. Showers are hot. We will be back.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent PitchesAug 2025

My boyfriend and I loved this campsite. Very chilled atmosphere, we liked that you can choose your own spot to get the best views or protection from the wind if necessary. The staff were lovely and helpful, gave some local recommendations. Good basic shop on site. The eco toilets were okay, a little bit stinky but expected and manageable, nicer than other facilities I've seen at some other sites. The showers were okay too. The location is great for exploring the New Forest and local area, as well as watching the boats come in and out of the Solent. The fact that you can have BBQs and campfires is definitely unique for the area. The ground was very dry which did make it a bit difficult to get tent pegs in, but we managed with a small metal hammer and slightly thicker pegs. Overall, great site we would love to return!
