About the site

Located beside the River Seiont and just a 15 minute drive from Dinas Dinlle Beach, this family friendly site offers a peaceful base. There is plenty to enjoy onsite, including fishing, wildlife spotting, sports courts, a handy shop, and a restaurant. Choose from non electric or 16 amp electric grass pitches (8m x 8m) suitable for tents and trailer tents. Camp beside the river or opt for a pitch near the playground. For caravans and motorhomes, there are 7m x 7m grass pitches with optional 16 amp electric hook up, available riverside, near the play area, or in quieter corners. Hardstanding 7m pitches with optional 16 amp electric hook-up are available for campervans only. Deluxe 8m x 8m pitches are also available in a secluded area with a 16 amp electric, water, and TV points. For a more comfortable break, try the glamping cabins, each featuring an ensuite bathroom, private hot tub, double bed, two singles, kitchenette, indoor seating, heating, and a cosy wood-burning stove. You're just ten minutes from Caernarfon and 15 minutes from both Dinas Dinlle Beach and the Snowdon Race in Llanberis, a great base for exploring coast and countryside alike. Dogs are welcome to join you on your pitch and in two of the four log cabins. BBQs are permitted!

Onsite, there is a facility block with toilets, free hot showers, a family room, a baby changing room, and accessible facilities. You will find a dishwashing area, a laundrette, and an ice pack freezer.

Free WiFi is provided and there is an undercover toddler's playhouse, a playground, a games room, reception with local maps and information leaflets, along with a shop to buy sweets, soft drinks, ice creams and a few camping essentials. Guests can hire fire pits, giant darts, games equipment, and an electric hook up with a £20 cash deposit.

Courts for playing games such as badminton, volleyball and basketball are also supplied, along with table tennis and pool. There's an undercover picnic area, a communal BBQ and a woodland dog walk. Fishing for trout and salmon is available on site in the River Seiont. Bring your rod licence, and day permits are sold in reception.

The Mill Bistro, separate from the site, serves up delicious locally sourced and fresh ingredients, with a menu that includes full Welsh breakfasts, snacks, light lunches and a brasserie on Fridays and Saturdays. It has a lounge with a wood burning stove and a licensed bar.

*For camping and touring, please check-in between 1pm and 6pm. Check out is by 12pm on your last day.

*For glamping, check-in is between 4pm - 5pm. Check out is by 10am on your last day.

*Dogs must be kept on their leads at all times.

*Quiet hours are between 10pm - 8am.

*Smoking is prohibited in public areas.

*BBQs are permitted but must be raised off the ground.

*Open fires are not allowed, sorry.

*All cars are to be parked in the car park during your stay

Things to do on site and in the Caernarfon area

Being located by the River Seiont, you can enjoy birdwatching, boating, paddling, fishing and more!

Explore Caernarfon just ten minutes away and visit Caernarfon Castle, an unmissable chance to discover Welsh history. Or, head over to Caernarfon Golf Club, also ten minutes away, for a relaxing game of golf followed by a bite to eat at one of the many surrounding pubs and eateries.

For a fun family day out, Pili Palas Nature World is a 15 minute drive away, a small zoo with meerkats, bugs, and butterfly enclosures, plus an indoor play area for little ones. Dinas Dinlle Beach is also just 15 minutes away, ideal for a beach day by the sea.

Outdoor and nature lovers must take a trip to the iconic Snowdonia National Park (Eryri), just 20 minutes from the site. As Wales' largest national park, it's full of mountain peaks, lakes, and incredible scenery, ideal for hiking, walking, climbing, and wildlife spotting.

History lovers should also explore the National Trust, Penrhyn Castle and Garden (20 minutes) with its stunning architecture and grounds.

For more beach days, head to Llanfairfechan Beach (25 minutes), Traeth Benllech (30 minutes), or Colwyn Bay Beach (35 minutes), ideal for coastal walks, soaking up the sun, or making memories with the family.
