About the site

Located on a rural, working farm where you can meet the resident animals, which include sheep and cattle, and escape the crowds. It's a 15 minute drive to the village of Malham, which offers traditional pubs (serving food) and the Malham National Park Visitor Centre which offers local guides. The site offers almost wild style camping, with 50 spots for tents and roof tents, each allowing up to six guests. Dogs can join you for your stay too, with one pup permitted per pitch. Evenings can be spent cooking up a BBQ, just please ensure it is raised from the ground. You can source provisions in the village or head to the market town of Settle (20 minute drive) for a wider choice of supermarkets, eateries and pubs.

Crakemoor is open for the May bank holidays, weekends from June 20th until 27th July and is then open for August.

A note from the site themselves...

We had a family wedding here in 2022, and after a beautiful day and many guests telling us we should share the location and views with everyone,e that is what we are aiming to do.

It is located on our working family farm in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, which has been passed from generation to generation. If you're lucky, you will be able to see the sheep and lambs in and around the campsite.
