About the site

This family friendly holiday park is a great base for a coastal break in the East Devon National Landscape. Budleigh Beach and the Jurassic Coast are just a five minute drive away, and the golden sands of Exmouth Beach are within ten minutes. You can also enjoy direct access to the National Cycle Network from the site, and the South West Coast Path can be reached within a five minute drive at Budleigh Salterton. The site is also a certified South West Coast Path stamping point. Camping and touring are split into two sections, both named after characters from the famous books by A.A. Milne. Choose Eyeore's Paddock, with electric grass 10m x 10m pitches for tents, trailer tents, single axle touring caravans and motorhomes. There are also hiker pitches for those on foot. For hardstanding pitches, Pooh's Field has spacious, fully serviced 7m x 9m hardstanding pitches for single or twin axle touring caravans and motorhomes. There are also holiday homes onsite, as well as seasonal pitches. Enjoy onsite food trucks, free WiFi and a children's playground, plus woodland views and plenty of space for the little ones to run and play. Dogs are very welcome here, with up to three dogs allowed per pitch and lots of places to explore directly from the site via footpaths, woodland and farmland. Raised BBQs are allowed, but sorry, no campfires please.

Facilities include a free-to-use, modern toilet and shower block with hot water, underfloor heating, an accessible shower room and hairdryers. You'll also find a coin-operated laundry, a pot wash area, a freezer, and free WiFi, plus EV charging points onsite.

Little ones can enjoy the onsite play area, and there's a family bathroom with a baby bath, a changing station and a rainfall shower.

There are visiting catering vans onsite, and you'll find the local pub, The Dog and Donkey, a short ten minute stroll away and The Salt Cellars Café within a 15 minute walk. Further restaurants and supermarkets can be found in Budleigh Salterton within a five minute drive.

Site rules and policies

*Check-in from 12pm to 8pm.

*Check out by 11am on your last day, unless prior arrangement has been made.

*Space for one car next to your pitch, there is limited additional parking so please let us know if you are planning on bringing an extra car.

*No open fires on site.

*BBQs are permitted but must be raised off the ground.

*Quiet policy is between 10pm-9am.

*Dogs must be kept on their leads at all times and cleaned up after in the waste bins.

Things to do on site and in the Budleigh Salterton area

There's plenty to do right on your doorstep here. Woodbury Common is accessed from the site and has country trails for walking and cycling. Keen cyclists will also be able to access the National Cycle Network (Route Two) directly from the site, perfect for family cycle rides and scenic routes.

The seaside town of Budleigh Salterton is a five minute drive away, with pubs, shops and restaurants, and slightly further afield is Budleigh Salterton Beach, a top spot for fossil hunting, rock pooling and taking a dip.

For those wanting to build a sandcastle, Exmouth Beach is a ten minute drive away and known for golden sands and watersports, such as paddleboarding and kite surfing. The Blue Flag-winning Sandy Bay Beach is also within a 15 minute drive, and there are plenty more coastal views to be found along the Jurassic Coast, too.

Little ones will love visiting the animals at the Donkey Sanctuary (20 minutes), and thrill seekers won't want to miss the rides at Crealy Great Adventure Park and Resort (25 minutes). Seaton Tramway is also a must-do for countryside views and a gentler-paced day out.
