Set within 30 acres of wild Devon countryside, this site is a peaceful retreat where you can switch off and enjoy the great outdoors. Surrounded by nature yet just ten minutes from Sidmouth, it's ideally placed for scenic walks up Peak Hill, fossil hunting along the Jurassic Coast and more. Unwind with a session in the wood-fired sauna and cold plunge (available for a charge with exclusive-use options), or hire a wood-fired hot tub to your pitch and enjoy the views as the sun sets. There are 25 spacious non electric grass pitches, each measuring 10m by 8m, suitable for tents, caravans, campervans and motorhomes with room for an awning or gazebo. For a comfortable glamping stay, choose one of the five fully furnished bell tents, sleeping up to four guests. Each comes equipped with a double bed, two single beds, bedside tables with lamps, rugs and a clothes rail, with bedding included. You'll also find a hob burner, kettle, crockery and cutlery, while shared facilities are nearby. Couples looking for a more luxurious escape can opt for one of the two ensuite glamping pods. The Aurora Pod features a skylight roof, a cosy open-plan living space with a sofa, TV and dining area, plus a well-equipped kitchenette with a hob, fridge, kettle and coffee machine. Outside, enjoy your own private deck complete with seating, BBQ and a wood-fired hot tub. The Stargazer Pod has a skylight roof and floor-to-ceiling glass panels that make the most of the night skies. Inside, you will find a double bed, sofa, TV, dining area and fully equipped kitchenette, while outside there is a private deck with seating, a BBQ and a wood-fired hot tub. Despite its secluded feel and tree-lined setting, the site is within walking distance of a welcoming local pub, 20 minutes away. For walkers and cyclists, Dartmoor National Park is just a 35 minute drive, offering miles of trails to explore. Dogs are welcome on the grass pitches and in the bell tents, provided they are kept on a lead and supervised at all times. Please note that the glamping units are pet-free. BBQs are welcome, provided they are raised off the ground. Campfires are allowed in the site's supplied fire pits, which are available for hire, alongside log bundles. The site is licensed by the Woodland Champions Club, helping landowners create and manage woodland for the public to enjoy.
