About the site

A peaceful, family friendly site just minutes from the coast, yet still lined with trees to provide a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Just a 15 minute walk into Brixham with it's harbour, fresh seafood restaurants and quaint shops to explore, the walk back is uphill though! For campers and tourers, there are over 150 grass pitches to pitch up on, some with the added bonus of a 16 amp electric hook up. The electric pitches measure 9m x 9m, or if you're opting for one of the non electric pitches these measure 10m x 10m - so there is plenty of space to set up your table and chairs! Or, for those who would prefer to leave the tent at home, there are some cosy glamping options ranging from pods to shepherd's huts to safari style ready tents, all suitable for families of up to four. The pods and ready tents both have a double bed with a mattress and a sofa bed for two little ones, bedding and towels are not supplied so you will need to bring your own. The safari-style ready tents are the perfect option for a camping experience and to make your stay more comfortable there are bedside tables, lighting, heating, an electric heater, power sockets and an outside decking area with a BBQ. The camping pods are well-insulated for all year round stays and have lockable glazed doors plus a small window at the back, heating, lighting and power sockets. There is also a foldaway table and chairs as well as a microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge. Outside is a decking with a BBQ. Or, the shepherd's hut is the most fully equipped option with an electric hob, microwave, toaster, pots and pans, utensils, china, cutlery, kettle, knife block, wooden chopping boards, electric log burner and a foldaway table and chairs. Inside is a king-sized bed with bedding provided and a sofa bed for two. There is also an ensuite with a toilet, shower, sink, plus bath and hand towels. Outside is a decking area with a table and chairs for enjoying the sunshine with a glass of your favourite tipple. Onsite there is a play park for under 12s plus a cafe and bar with live entertainment, locally made ales and fresh, barista coffee. Head down to Brixham harbour for some dinner just a 15 minute walk away with lots of fresh seafood and boats moored in, Paignton and Torquay are also only 15 minutes by car. Dogs are welcome on the camping and touring pitches, but sorry the glamping units are all dog free. BBQs are welcome as long as they are raised from the ground.

Pitches are available March to October. Glamping is available all year. Pitches from £26/night for 2 people.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass PitchesAug 2025

We stayed previously for 5 days about 3 years ago. Great to see it is still a brilliant site to stay at! Only there for a couple of nights this time so didn't get a chance to try the new bar/restaurant in the safari tent but loved this addition and will be back again and definitely trying it out next time. Thank you again.
