About the site

Escape to this tranquil camping and glamping site in the pretty West Cornish countryside. Wake up to sea views and enjoy days by the seaside at the nearby Praa Sands Beach before taking the short 15 minute stroll over to the popular local pub! The spacious grass pitches are suitable for tents, roof tents, caravans, motorhomes and campervans and there is the option to have a 16 amp electric hook up. If you're after a little more luxury, why not check out one of the site's ensuite glamping pods. Two of the glamping pods sleep up to four guests with a king-size bedroom and double sofa bed, one of these even has a private wood-fired hot tub. The the other glamping pod sleeps six with an additional twin bedroom. All bedding and towels are provided in both of the glamping pods. Guests can enjoy a modern and thoughtfully decorated living area and kitchenette with all the essential cooking utensils and equipment. Inside you will also find central heating, USB charging points and a wood burner in the one bedroom glamping pod. All of the pods also have a modern ensuite bathroom with hot water and a private decking, BBQ and garden furniture. There are also three bell tents available, one of which is located on its own with electric hook up. The bell tents sleep up to five guests with a double bed, two single beds for children and an additional camping mattress. All bedding is provided and they have a private undercover kitchen area with all the cooking equipment provided. Shared toilet and shower facilities are nearby. If you're looking for a couple's getaway, the site's shepherd's hut is the perfect choice, sleeping two guests and equipped with its own private heated wet room. Bedding and towels are included. Inside is a luxury raised king size bed as well as a well-equipped kitchenette, seating and a wood burner. Outside you can enjoy a private decking area with a BBQ as well as a grassed area with seating and a fire pit. A breakfast basket is provided on arrival in both the shepherd's hut and the glamping pods! Guests can enjoy bread, butter, eggs and milk, with vegan options also available! If you're looking to enjoy dinner al fresco, a fire pit is provided in all of the glamping accommodation along with a free bags of logs, with additional logs available to purchase onsite. BBQs and campfires in fire pits are permitted, please just make sure they are raised off the ground. If you're looking to bring your pups along, up to two dogs are only welcome to join you in both the camping and glamping accommodation outside of the summer holidays. The site also operates a quiet policy between 10:30pm and 8am.

Camping and touring pitches are available from April until October, shepherd's hut is available from April to November, bell tents are available from May to October and the glamping pods are available all year round. Pitches from £16/night for 2 people.

We had a really lovely time staying on your gorgeous campsite. It was really family friendly, quiet and very peaceful. Kids played happily and safely in the field. The whole site is really pretty with lots of plants and hedging. The facilities were great. Showers and toilets clean and we never had to queue or wait to use them. They had a little bar in the evenings and a lovely little farm shop that sold essentials in the mornings. We got some great local sausages for breakfast. The location is perfect for exploring the west coast! We had a really special holiday and we'll definitely be back. Thank you!

We loved this site, it was perfect for us. Facilities were great, hot showers and never a wait. Plenty of space for kids to play. The pizza and bar area is rustic and lovely. Such a quiet site despite being family friendly. 15 min walk to a nice pub. We would definitely come back.
