A note from the site themselves...

Gun Lane Farm has been a working farm for over 400 years. This is our first step into diversification and we wanted to create a little haven within a field. Somewhere to relax, unwind and recharge enjoying the unspoilt views of the surrounding countryside.

Shepherd's Hut - Long Lea View Shepherd's HutJun 2025

The pictures of this site and Shepherds Hut don't do it justice. We just spent the weekend there and were amazed by the details the hosts have gone to that make this a wonderful place to stay. The views from the site are lovely and we were even able to have some family members round for a BBQ using the on site facilities. I would highly recommend staying here.

Shepherd's Hut - Long Lea View Shepherd's HutJun 2025

Really wonderful! The hut has everything you could possibly want, it's comfy and there are really thoughtful little touches around the place - you can tell it's been created to be enjoyed! We had a great time around the fire pit each evening and awoke on Saturday to see the sunrise - it was perfect. Easy enough to get to via public transport too! The only downside was that we didn't book it for longer! Can't wait to go again.

A lovely break

A lovely shepherd's hut on a stunning location. The only unit on site so we were all alone which is just how we like it. Plenty to do in the area if you like walking in beautiful locations.
