About the site
Enjoy a peaceful getaway to the countryside at this working farm in the Peak District. Set along the Limestone Way, with the pubs of Monyash close by, the infamous Chatsworth House a 20 minute drive and the picturesque towns of Bakewell and Buxton a 15 minute drive, there is no shortage of things to do nearby. Guests can choose their own grass pitches. The site's adult-only camping field has 30 pitches suitable for tents and trailer tents/roof tents. While there are 30 non electric grass pitches in the family friendly field which are suitable for tents, trailer tents, campervans, motorhomes and RVs. Please note that the walk to facilities block is slightly longer from the family field. There are also six grass pitches with 16 amp electric hook up, which are in a separate field and are suitable for tents, trailer tents, single and twin axle caravans, motorhomes and campervans. For those after a little more luxury, four adult-only glamping pods sleep up to two guests with two single beds that can form a double! Bedding is provided, but please bring your own towels. Inside is a dining area and kitchenette with a kettle, toaster, fridge, microwave, and single electric hob as well as cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils. Outside is a private patio area with seating, a gas BBQ and a hot tub! Guests can experience firsthand the joys of farm life, with the site's Aberdeen Angus cows and Dorper sheep roaming around! With a handy onsite shop and the option of tasty takeaway pizzas, breakfast baps and croissants (between 1st April and 30th September), your stay is sure to be relaxing. Up to two dogs are allowed on the grass pitches. Dogs are not permitted in the glamping pods. If you're hoping to enjoy dinner al fresco, raised BBQs are permitted. Open fires are only permitted in raised fire pits on camping fields only. Fire baskets are available to hire from the site on arrival and you can also purchase charcoal and wood.
The campsite is open from 1st May to 29th September. Pods are open all year round. Stay from £120/night for 2 people (2-night minimum).

Check-in at Knotlow Farm is available from 1:30pm to 8pm for camping and from 3pm to 8pm for glamping. Departure is due before 11:30am on your last day for camping and 10am for glamping.
Is Knotlow Farm dog-friendly?
Yes, Knotlow Farm is dog friendly, allowing up to two dogs to join you on the grass pitches. Please note that dogs are not permitted in the glamping pods. Dogs must be kept on their lead, cleaned up after, and supervised at all times. The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (e.g. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).

Yes, Knotlow Farm allows BBQs, but they must be raised off the ground and attended to by an adult at all times. Open fires are only permitted in raised fire pits. Guests can hire fire baskets from the site on arrival and can also purchase firewood and charcoal.
