About the site
Nestled just ten minutes from the glorious Kent coast, this family friendly site provides a peaceful base for exploring the Garden of England. Based on a 383 acre farm, numerous footpaths link to the farm, perfect for exploring the beautiful surrounding countryside, or hop on your bike and take the 'Pier to Parlour' route into Deal. For tents, campervans, motorhomes and caravans the site has a range of grass pitches, each allowing up to four guests. If you are travelling in a large group, the site also has three pitches in the paddock area which can accommodate up to 15 guests. When the weather warms up, the onsite ice cream parlour is perfect for a delicious treat. Spoil yourself with an ice cream sundae, a full English or a tasty panini or toastie. There is even an onsite pub where you can enjoy an evening tipple, with live entertainment every other Friday night. The site also offers tractor rides in peak season, a great way to see the farm in style. BBQs are also allowed onsite so don't forget to bring the cool box. Please note, campfires and fire pits are not permitted. Four-legged friends can also join you for your stay with up to two allowed per pitch.

What time is check-in and check out at Solley's Ice Cream Campsite?
You are welcome to check-in between 1:30pm and 7pm. Check out is due by 11am on your final day.

Yes, four legged friends are welcome on all of the pitches. Up to two dogs are allowed per pitch but they must be kept on the lead at all times and not left unattended.

BBQs are welcome, though they must be raised off the ground. Please note, campfires are not allowed.

You are able to book up to two pitches per booking and can request they are together, although this isn't guaranteed. For groups of up to three pitches, you can stay in The Paddock field together.

There is an onsite ice cream parlour that also sells breakfast and lunch and an onsite pub! The pub is open from 1st March until December daily, although please note there are special opening times in December. The Ice Cream Parlour is open daily but is closed from 25th December until the end of January.

Getting there
What is access like for touring at Solley's Ice Cream Campsite?
Towed caravans and larger vehicles should come in on the A258 Dover Road and turn left on to Ripple road. Carry on down the long straight across the railway bridge, turn right at the T junction, then into the village. Go past The Plough pub and at the next crossroads turn right, follow the road up Mantles Hill, then take the first left.
