A note from the site themselves...
Set up by our grandfather, local Farmer Bateman Marshall, in 1970, this is a true family run park. With the third generation now involved, we're still welcoming families into our family year on year.
The park started with a few basic touring facilities and has been sympathetically extended over the last 50 years to become the five star park it is now known as. We have the beauty of only being a short, safe walk from the bustling village of High Bentham yet you can retreat to your riverside location when you want to just enjoy the peace and quiet.

Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding PitchesJun 2025
This a beautiful site which would have been a very peaceful visit for us had it not been for the mower and strimmer in use every day in the bay we stayed in and around the area of our pitch. There was only us and one other vehicle in this bay for several days. The mowing and strimming could have been completed in one day.
It was difficult drying shower towels everyday as washing lines are not allowed (even though ours is free standing). We did not want to use the electric dryers in the laundry area as this would not have been environmentally friendly (given that this is a conservation site/area). We had to hang towels from cupboards inside our vehicle, which was far from ideal. The shower and toilets were, however, exceptional, as were all other facilities.
