This peaceful, secluded site is ideal for a quiet, family friendly escape and is just a 20 minute drive from York. Set on a 1.25-acre working arable and beef farm, you'll likely spot a few roaming animals during your stay. Choose from 11 electric grass pitches suitable for roof tents, caravans, motorhomes, and campervans. The site offers easy access to top attractions, including the York Dungeon (20 minutes) and the National Railway Museum (25 minutes). For a day out in the city, Leeds is just a 45 minute drive, where you can visit the National Science and Media Museum, Roundhay Park, and Leeds City Museum, as well as enjoy the many shops, cafes, and eateries. BBQs are permitted but must be raised off the ground. Sorry, campfires are not allowed. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, but please keep them on a lead while on site.

Is Approach Farm Caravan Site dog-friendly?
Up to four dogs are welcome to join you, free of charge. Breeds and crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act are not permitted unless by prior arrangement. The site asks that dogs be kept on leads or within an awning/enclosure, they can be walked on the farm tracks as long as they are under close control.
