About the site

This small CS site has an open aspect (south-west facing site) and is just 2 miles from Newton Abbot and 6 miles from Totnes. Old Orchard House's pitches are all grass, set on flat ground with open country views. Pitch up in a great location for access to Dartmoor and the English Riviera coast.

The site is open from 1st March until 31st October depending on the weather.

No bonfires, no loud music, no commercial vans.

No dog-walking area, but there are many country lanes around the site.

As the site has no showers or toilets, an Elsan is essential.

Things to do on site and in the Newton Abbot area

Looking for a warm Devon country welcome? It's a short walk to the excellent Two Mile Oak pub, plus there are other good country pubs nearby at Denbury and Ipplepen.

Dainton Park Golf Club is minutes away and great for those keen to test their swing, while an easy 20 minutes in the car has you at the classic English seaside spots of Paignton and Torquay. Let the kids go ape for the animals at Paignton Zoo or Torquay's Dinosaur World.

A modest drive in the other direction could be the start of incredible days out on Dartmoor, where stunning walks and bike routes await.
