About the site

Located on the edge of the Mendip Hills National Landscape, this small, rural adult only park provides a great base for exploring Somerset. It is within a ten minute drive of popular attractions like Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole Caves, with Glastonbury and Wells within 20 minutes and the coast just half an hour away. Campers and trailer tents are welcome on the five grass 4m x 6m pitches with electric hook ups. While tourers, roof tents, and trailer tents can pitch up on one of the 27 fully serviced hardstandings measuring 5m x 8m, also with electric, defined boundaries, and adjacent parking. A cable measuring at least ten metres is needed for the electric hook ups. Within a 20 minute stroll of the site, you will find The Cider Barn offering a selection of tasty sourdough pizzas as well as West Country ales and cider for you to sample. You can also find The Rodney Stoke Inn directly outside the site, for cooked meals, should you not want to stray too far. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, with up to two allowed per pitch. So you can bring your four-legged friend along with your adventure, too. There's even an enclosed dog walk for them to stretch their legs, plus a dog wash, and you'll be surrounded by countryside for outdoor walks. If you want to enjoy a spot of al fresco cooking, BBQs are welcome, as long as they are raised from the ground. Warren's Farm Shop, a five minute walk, also provides a great range of local produce for goodies for the grill. Please note that only self-contained fire pits are permitted here.

VW-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding PitchesOct 2025

Lovely, small, peaceful site on perfect location for exploring Somerset. Superb pub right at the entrance to the site serving food all day. Very friendly and helpful staff on site. Nothing to much problem. Ideal for dog owners as plenty of walks adjacent.

VW-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding PitchesSep 2025

Upon arrival, it didn't look too bad. The grass could do with a definite tidy up and clean around the area. The dog mess bin doesn't look like it's been emptied for months. The showers definitely need a re-silicone to get rid of all the black mould. The toilets need a bit more of a robotic clean. the signage for shower number one and two is a tiny little sticker which you can barely read as this has nearly worn off. Both showers barely dribble out.

Lovely site

Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding PitchesSep 2025

Lovely quiet site. Everyone friendly and helpful. Toilet block was spotlessly clean. For the price it was really good value. We will definitely return.
