About the site
Located on the edge of the Mendip Hills National Landscape, this small, rural adult only park provides a great base for exploring Somerset. It is within a ten minute drive of popular attractions like Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole Caves, with Glastonbury and Wells within 20 minutes and the coast just half an hour away. Campers and trailer tents are welcome on the five grass 4m x 6m pitches with electric hook ups. While tourers, roof tents, and trailer tents can pitch up on one of the 27 fully serviced hardstandings measuring 5m x 8m, also with electric, defined boundaries, and adjacent parking. A cable measuring at least ten metres is needed for the electric hook ups. Within a 20 minute stroll of the site, you will find The Cider Barn offering a selection of tasty sourdough pizzas as well as West Country ales and cider for you to sample. You can also find The Rodney Stoke Inn directly outside the site, for cooked meals, should you not want to stray too far. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, with up to two allowed per pitch. So you can bring your four-legged friend along with your adventure, too. There's even an enclosed dog walk for them to stretch their legs, plus a dog wash, and you'll be surrounded by countryside for outdoor walks. If you want to enjoy a spot of al fresco cooking, BBQs are welcome, as long as they are raised from the ground. Warren's Farm Shop, a five minute walk, also provides a great range of local produce for goodies for the grill. Please note that only self-contained fire pits are permitted here.
