A note from the site themselves...
We are a husband and wife team with 2 fluffy doggies. We've been the owners of Burton Springs Holidays for 2 years. We decided at the beginning of the pandemic to take a leap of faith and change our lives. So some internet searching, sailing across an ocean and hey presto we where lucky enough become the very proud owners of Burton Springs.
As a small site, we very much believe in the personal touch and are always around, to give advice on local attractions, information on the fishing or just a chat. We really love that family feeling and treat everyone as our guest to our beautiful peace of the countryside.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass And Hardstanding PitchesApr 2025
Nice site for a weekend break. We took our 2 dogs, who really enjoyed the dog play area.
Great showers! Lovely fishing lakes to walk around. Walked to nearest village to get a few provisions from local shop. Had hoped to walk and have a meal at local pub, but unfortunately, closed on bank holiday Monday.
A really lovely place to stay with a young family and dogs

Large Tent - Grass Pitches With Optional ElectricApr 2025
The facilities were very well maintained and well laid out. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. There were lots of dog toys and agility stations for the dogs to enjoy in the dog play area. The children enjoyed playing in park and also using the games room. We didn't have a microwave or freezer so was glad there were free communal ones for us to use. Although this time none of us fished the fishing facilities look top class.

Small Tent - Grass Pitches With Optional ElectricApr 2025
The campsite was lovely with the lake and good clean facilities including a fridge, microwave, and kettle. There are also picnic tables we could use and move which was very helpful.
Unfortunately, we were camped near a very loud group of lads, who were shouting and screeching until the early hours. I didn't feel comfortable to confront them and there was no way to let the campsite owners know without phoning them. I think we were unlucky as we were camped right next to them, obviously not the campsites fault.
Additionally, be aware that Hinkley Point C is close, although not necessarily a negative, we could see and faintly hear it from the campsite.
