About the site
Set in the Peak District National Park, this family run site is ideal for those seeking a countryside escape. Next to a farm, there is a great taste of rural life, with the Pennine Bridleway right next door for exploring the area. Bakewell is within 20 minutes, or you can simply enjoy the fresh country air from your pitch. The site offers 50 spacious non electric pitches, suitable for tents, roof tents, trailer tents and campervans, each measuring 10m x 10m. You are welcome to pitch where you like on arrival, and pitches also enjoy scenic views, with sheep and donkeys as your neighbours! It's also a perfect base for exploring the rest of the Peak District's towns and villages, or strolling along the River Wye and, of course, trying a Bakewell tart! Buxton is also 15 minutes by car and is full of Victorian and Georgian architecture and pretty gardens. Please note, due to the current dry weather, fire pits are not permitted. BBQs are still allowed. Up to two four-legged friends are welcome to join you for your stay.
