About the site
Set on the edge of the North York Moors, the site offers a peaceful, adult only glamping escape surrounded by open countryside. The luxury site sits beside six acres of meadowland with amazing views, while the market town of Helmsley is around a 30 minute walk away. All of the glamping pods feature a comfortable king-size bedroom with bedding provided, along with a sofa and dining area for relaxing. They also have a fully equipped kitchen with a hob, oven or grill, microwave, L'Or coffee machine and fridge, as well as a smart TV, WiFi, Bluetooth speakers and a private ensuite bathroom. Fluffy towels, eco-friendly toiletries, tea, coffee, milk and treats are also provided. Outside, each pod has its own decking area with outdoor seating, a Kadai BBQ fire pit and a wood-fired hot tub. Coppice and Campion are dog friendly and feature enclosed decking, giving four-legged guests a little extra freedom to enjoy the outdoors safely. For an extra special stay, guests can upgrade to the Meadow Spa pod. Alongside the same luxury facilities as the other pods, it has a roll-top bath beneath a star-gazing roof and a private sauna for two. With the North York Moors on the doorstep, there are plenty of walking routes and scenic places to explore nearby. Helmsley is home to independent shops, restaurants and historic attractions, while York is around a 35 minute drive away for a day of sightseeing. Please note that the pods are all adult only but there is also a cottage onsite that allows children aged over 12 to stay.

At Helmsley Meadows, only the Coppice and Campion pods are dog friendly (extra charge), each with enclosed decking so four-legged guests can enjoy a little extra freedom off-lead outside. Please keep them off the furniture and clean muddy paws using the outside tap and dog towels provided. Please keep them on a lead around the site and supervised at all times.
Does Helmsley Meadows allow BBQs and campfires?
Helmsley Meadows allows BBQs as long as they are raised off the ground and open fires in raised fire pits. Each pod has a Kadai BBQ fire pit. Only fire pits and BBQ's provided by the site are permitted. Portable BBQs are not allowed. Beadlam Grange Farmshop and Bistro is a 15 minute walk away for picking up some tasty local produce!
