About the site
Enjoy a relaxing seaside stay at this scenic Devon campsite. Guests will have views across the Hangman Hills of Exmoor, overlooking Combe Martin Bay and the Bristol Channel, with the coastline of Wales visible on clear days. For days at the beach, Combe Martin Beaches and Hele Beach are within a five minute drive.
The site offers a total of 50 individually marked pitches, suitable for tents, motorhomes, caravans and campervans up to 8m in length. Most offer a 10 amp electric hook up, with some also including a hardstanding area.
For those hiking or travelling by motorcycle, there are smaller grass pitches for up to two guests. The rest of the pitches allow up to six people.
If you want to leave the tent pegs at home, there is a simple, off-grid bunkhouse cabin. Sleeping up to four, the cabin includes two double beds (bedding not provided), a table, chairs and a battery powered lamp.
The pitches are dog friendly, with up to three dogs allowed to join you for your stay. There is even a designated walking field where they can be let off the lead. Do note, the cabin is pet free.
Evenings can be spent enjoying a BBQ, just please ensure it is raised from the ground. Open fires are not permitted.
Little Meadow Campsite is open from 20/03 to 30/09.
Facilities include a toilet and shower block with a washing up area. A laundry room includes a washing machine (tokens available for purchase) with tourist information leaflets, free WiFi and free ice pack freezing (though making a donation to the box for the lifeboat charity is encouraged). For kids, there is a play area with swings, a roundabout and a net.
The onsite shop provides local produce, including fresh bakes, meat and eggs. Opening times will vary throughout the year. Outside is a table tennis table, with bats and balls for sale in the shop. For dogs, there is a large dog field where they can be off of the lead.
The Storm in a Teacup Boat Cafe is a 15 minute walk away. Ilfracombe is also within five minutes, offering a range of shops and eateries.

Things to do on site and in the Ilfracombe area
Ilfracombe is just a five minute drive away. This seaside town has a pretty harbour, shops, and the famous Tunnels Beaches, hand-carved tunnels leading to sheltered swimming areas. You can also see Damien Hirst's huge Verity sculpture or enjoy some fish and chips by the water.
Combe Martin, also only five minutes from the site, is a quiet village with a lovely beach surrounded by cliffs. The calm waters are great for paddleboarding or kayaking, and at low tide, rockpools appear, perfect for exploring.
Just 20 minutes away is Woolacombe Beach, one of the best in the UK. The three miles of golden sand are a favourite for families and surfers. You can rent boards, take a surfing lesson, or just enjoy building sandcastles and paddling in the waves.
