About the site
Overlooking Croyde Bay, this family friendly site makes for the perfect base for those looking to chill out on the beach or catch some waves. Situated on the South West Coast Path, this also makes for a popular destination for keen walkers and even climbers looking to explore Baggy Point. The site welcomes tents, campervans and small motorhomes (6.5 metres in length max) across its range of grass and hardstanding pitches, half of which offer electric hook up. The site offers three types of pitch, small, medium and large and so do check your tent or campervan size before booking your desired pitch. A range of the non electric grass pitches also enjoy views out over the beach and bay, the perfect spot for watching the sunset with a chilled beer or glass of wine. Water sports enthusiasts will be spoilt for choice. Rent surfboards, bodyboards, paddleboards and wetsuits from the onsite surf hut and enjoy spending your days out on the water! BBQs are welcome onsite, just please ensure they are raised from the ground, bricks can be provided. Open fires are prohibited. Sorry, dogs are not allowed.

We spotted Ocean Pitch last year when visiting Baggy Point for the day. We had to book it and come back with our campervan this year. We were lucky enough to book 3 nights over Easter. The view of Croyde beach is amazing and the site is a stone throw away from the south west coast path. Small grass site with all the facilites you need for van life! Staff were friendly, neighbours were friendly, hot showers and ladies vanity room with hair dryers and straighteners. We loved our stay here and will definitely be back 😊

Great location overlooking the sea, facilities were clean and well stocked (eg hairdryers, straighteners, toiletries and sanitary products) and we had an easy and friendly check in. Overall a great experience.

The staff are excellent, really helpful and accommodating. I was greeted by a staff member with a northern accent (forgotten his name). He was so kind and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. He explained everything I needed to know.
