About Inside Out Camping @ Seatoller Farm
Inside Out Camping is set in one of the most beautiful valleys in the Lake District. Access to the hills and lakes of the area is easy, as it's all right on your doorstep. The nearby town of Keswick is only 8 miles up the road and has all the shops and amenities you would expect to keep you busy. Derwentwater with all its activity options is only a 10 minute drive. The furnished yurts sleep up to five inside, on futon style beds (a double and two singles which can be pushed together) with bedding for four provided. An air bed for the fifth person can be provided, please bring your own bedding. They include crockery and cooking equipment, gas hobs and a grill. They're spacious enough to walk around in and have a lovely skylight in the roof. All have access to shared toilets and showers nearby.

The site has shared clean showers and toilets, as well as cold water taps. There's no electricity and little mobile signal, so it's a perfect spot for switching off in nature.
A half hour walk will bring you to the excellent Riverside Bar at the Scafell Hotel in Rosthwaite, and there are also nearby farm shops and a tea room. Five miles away (with a regular bus) is the bustling town of Keswick which also has shops and eateries.

As a family of four and a dog, we found the yurt a perfect size for us. We had the best time and will definitely be returning. It was lovely to be completely off the grid with no phone signal and just enjoy each others company. The two boys (9) and (10) enjoyed playing in the lake and surrounding fields. Our yurt came equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Location is beautiful.

My son's and I had a great time, central location and the best glamping site we've stayed at. Highly recommend, it's the Lake District so be prepared for varied weather! Farm shop is a bonus! We will return :)

Things to do on site and in the Keswick area
If you wish to experience the outdoors then the Keswick area has plenty to offer. There are local centres which will take you kayaking, climbing, biking, sailing, ghyl scrambling and even climbing at Via Ferrata. Honister Slate Mine offers incredible underground adventures, too.
There are lovely walks to do straight from the campsite which would take you down the Borrowdale Valley or onto the higher mountains such as Scafell or Great Gable.
