About Heathfield Farm Camping
This is a small and friendly family-run campsite, set in the beautiful West Wight. It is ideally located for the abundance of country walks and cycle paths that run past the park. You'll be staying on the site of a non-working farm.
The planting of indigenous trees and shrubs has created a haven for birds and small mammals. There are also some resident red squirrels.
If you fancy visiting the wealth of the island's attractions, then you'll be only a short drive from many of these. At Heathfield Camping, you can have the best of both worlds - peace and tranquility on site, then visit the attractions and be tourists for the day, if you so wish!
Pitches are on grass and there are many with electric and a selection that are without. There are even extra large pitches and some that have sublime views over the Solent, known as premier view pitches.
Up to two dogs are permitted on certain pitches, please specify when booking if you're bringing a dog with you.
Heathfield Farm Camping is open from 01/05 to 14/09.
Amenity buildings offer showers and toilets, with separate wash cubicles, hair dryers and shaver points. The laundry room has a coin operated washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing facilities. There is also a games field for the kids to kick a ball or ride their bikes, plus a wild flower meadow for walking your four legged guests and ice pack freezing.
Fishing, golf, horse riding, sailing and other water sports are all available nearby. The island's bus network is accessible from the entrance to the park. The nearest pub is The Vine Inn, a ten minute walk away, and for shopping, Costcutter is a 20 minute walk from the site.

Motorhome - Electric Grass Pitches (Pet Free)Jul 2023
Heathfield Farm Campsite is in a perfect position for visiting the local beaches and places of interest in the west of the island. The site staff were very friendly and extremely helpful and gave us lots of information about the local area.
The camp facilities were kept very clean and the whole area was kept very tidy. We had a very nice stay and would return another time.
Family friendly, peaceful site

Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches (Pet Free)Jul 2023
Location was good - on the quieter side of the Isle of Wight, close to beautiful quiet beaches & a bus service at the end of the road, very handy! We did a lovely walk to the Needles straight from the campsite.
The site itself was spacious and we had a good-sized, clearly defined pitch.Toilets & washing-up areas were clean and spacious. The showers were clean but extremely small - too small. It was a real squeeze to fit in and get things out of your bag, get changed etc.
Site staff were friendly. There's a little hut with attraction leaflets, bus timetables etc in which was handy. The playing field had goals and a basketball post which my children really enjoyed. The play park in the middle of the field was also great - enough to keep the children entertained whilst being able to see them from the tent.
I would recommend it.
Lovely, friendly campsite in a great location

Small Tent - Electric Grass Pitches (Pet Free)Jul 2023
The owners of the site are super helpful and really friendly. Really warm welcome when we arrived. The site is very well kept and really quiet. We would recommend this site to anyone wanting a quiet location. We only have one recommendation and that is for more showers. For the size of the site, it could do with another shower block. Three showers in the men's block is not enough and they are very small.
However, this did not spoil our stay at all. A lovely site run by lovely people.
