About the site
An ideal location for some family fun. This Devon holiday park offers something for everyone, from swimming pools and kids play areas, to live entertainment, a licensed bar and a gym and spa, this park is kitted out with everything you could possibly need! You'll find a variety of grass and hardstanding camping and touring pitches spread across four areas. There are over 300 spacious electric grass pitches suitable for tents, caravans, motorhomes and trailer tents. Caravans, campervans, motorhomes and RVs can also pitch between the Meadow Super pitches and the Haldon View pitches. These measure 12m x 10m and also come fully serviced with an electric, water and grey waste hook up. All of the hook ups are 10 amp and can be charged to a top-up card, with pitches allowing up to eight guests. Access to the swimming pools, play park and pump track are also included in your pitch price! There is also a range of quality accommodations to cater for all tastes and budgets, including safari tents and super comfortable family lodges. And with a host of outdoor and indoor sports and leisure facilities, fun and games are guaranteed. Four-legged friends are also more than welcome, with up to two allowed per pitch. There is an onsite dog wash and dedicated walking field, plus the dog friendly marquee bar (open end of May to September) with live music most evenings. BBQs are also welcome onsite as long as they are raised from the ground, though fire pits are prohibited. If you don't fancy cooking, the onsite restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with a great range for little ones!

The site is lovely with good facilities. Shower blocks are very clean, swimming pool was great, lovely play park for children. Staff were very helpful and polite, fish and chip shop was very nice and they do a decent breakfast at the restaurant, not the best but definitely better than expected. I think for a grass pitch for a motorhome, it's a bit pricier than other sites but then the swimming pool use is included and you can book a slot every morning from 9:30 online. This was quite easy and there was a lot of availability. Electric isn't included and you need to scan a QR code and set this upon arrival. It wasn't difficult but just a bit of a pain. The main thing that spoilt it is some of the groups of people. Getting really drunk, smashing wine glasses near children and generally just having no consideration for other people. Not the fault of the site but for us, it spoilt it and we're pretty laid back. If not for that, I would have had no complaints. Location is good for public transport, bus stop to Dawlish is a 5 minute walk from the park. The Strand in Dawlish was lovely with lots of shops and places to eat. The Old Mill Tea Room is definitely worth a visit for afternoon tea and John's café do a very nice breakfast, using all local produce. If you go, Gay's Creamery is a must. Their pasties, ice-cream and cream tea are all great.

Great site, really peaceful and quiet this time of year. Although I expect it to be very busy during summer periods, the place is huge. Everything we found was of a great standard, and excellent value for money. We will definitely come back again.
