About Polladras Holiday Park
Spread over seven acres, this quiet and rural holiday park offers a warm welcome and community feel with excellent facilities to enjoy your holiday. It's just a few miles from the coast, where you'll find lovely walks along the South West Coast Path, coves and enticing beaches. You'll find an excellent range of pitches to suit tents and tourers, including hardstandings with gravel, electric and large pitches at 9 x 10 metres. There are also non electric Wild camping pitches located in the Hillview Meadow, suitable for tents and trailer tents or small campervans, the pitch size is 9m x 9m and are on a gentle slope. For glampers, there are also furnished and unfurnished 5m bell tents that sleep up to four. While you relax, the children can enjoy the large games field, complete with a arcade/gamesroom, trampoline, swings, sandpit, climbing frame and football pitch. And the woodland walk / nature trail. Off the beaten track, yet ideally located, the site is just a 30-minute drive from top Cornwall attractions such as Land's End. Plus, don't miss the surfing at Sennen Cove and the pretty Porthleven Harbour nearby! Pets are welcome, with plenty of surrounding dog walks, including a dedicated meadow on the site.
Camping pitches are open between April and October, touring is available all year round. Bell tents are available between May and September.
Site facilities include toilets and showers with free hot water, family shower room (for families with pre teen kids), disabled shower room and inside dish washing sinks with free hot water and draining racks. There is a launderette with tumble dryer (coin operated) and washing machine, large washing lines and iron. Free WiFi is available (suitable for emails and web browsing).
The park offers a fridge and freezer for ice blocks, a shared microwave and wet suit dunk tank for cleaning kit. A two acre paddock with doggy bin is provided for dog walks and a small wooded nature trail for kids with info along the way.
There's also a games field, games room with pool table, air hockey, table football, toy grabbers and much more, plus an outdoor play area with climbing frames.
Off site, the Lion and Lamb pub is around two miles away and there are lots of other good pubs offering real ales and tasty food.

Slap bang in the middle of nowhere. Dark, quiet and no neighbours. We loved it. Ok, the pitches are compact but we didn't use our awning so it was fine. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Just a lovely and peaceful site. It is well set out and the facilities were so clean and lovely. My dogs loved it too for the dog walk. My son & his family lives in Helston so this site is ideally situated. I'll be staying again.

Things to do on site and in the Helston area
Beach fans will head immediately to Praa Sands 10 minutes' drive away. There are also lots of great places along the coastline for dipping into rockpools or even riding the waves at Sennen Cove.
If you're a serious surfer, you can take a quick seven-mile drive to Newquay for its famous surf scene, while Porthkerris beach offers diving options perfect for your bucket list.
Walkers are sure to find lots to love about the park's surrounding countryside, the challenge of the incredible coastal path and all the amazing Cornish sights that it passes, such as idyllic Mousehole or the views of St Michael's Mount at Marazion.
