A note from the site themselves...

Our site is on the grounds of our much loved rugby club. The club formed in the south-Cumbrian market town in 1877, and currently plays teams from level 6 rugby all the way down to a range of minis and youths.

We have been playing at Underley Park since formation, although changing facilities have varied until the new clubhouse was built in 1989, this has since been added to and improved. We look forward to welcoming campers in the summer months and hope to see you soon, Dave

Motorhome - Non Electric Grass PitchesJul 2023

We stayed on site in our motorhome (family of five). The site is easy to find, Dave had called to help us with check-in and was friendly and accommodating. Facilities were clean and the showers were hot (if you waited a minute for them to warm up). The view across the valley was beautiful and the rugby ground was well-maintained, surrounded by huge old trees. We set up our swing ball and the kids enjoyed playing. It was a short ten-minute walk into the town where we found a great pub and the kids enjoyed the old-fashioned sweet shop.

Clean and tidy

Motorhome - En-suite Electric Grass PitchesSep 2021

Clean and tidy site with almost one toilet per pitch. Quite quiet, but I guess that's because of time of year.

Beautiful, fantastic site with really helpful staff
