Tucked away in the heart of the Peak District, enjoy the stretching views over the Hope Valley. Ideally situated to get out and explore with footpaths leading out from the door. Home to Haddy's Hut, a luxurious handcrafted shepherd's hut perfect for two. Beautifully furnished interior with a double bed complete with Laura Ashley bedding and the luxury of underfloor heating throughout. Enjoy cosy nights in as you light the wood burner and watch the TV with a DVD player. You'll find everything you need under one roof with a modern ensuite with added touches like fluffy towels provided and a fully integrated kitchen with all you could need to feel at home. The kitchen includes an electric oven and hob, fridge, kettle and toaster as well as crockery and utensils. Outside you can enjoy the spectacular views from your own private seating area, with a fire pit and a BBQ can be provided if needed. Nestling under Lose Hill, Oaker Farm is the perfect base for exploring the Edale and the wider Peak District with public transport links in the nearby village. Whether you are looking for cycling, walking, sightseeing, or simply want to chill out, you'll find a warm welcome here.

The shepherd's hut has an ensuite with a shower, flushing toilet and wash basin. There is also a communal laundry room shared with guests of the rented cottages.
The Cheshire Cheese Inn is just a mile away with a great menu of food and drink. The village of Hope is a five minute drive away with a wide range of shops including a Spar, takeaways and restaurants. There's also a bus stop and train station.

Things to do on site and in the Hope area
There are many walks to explore right from the site as you are spoilt with footpaths from your door. The Peak District offer stunning scenery across vast landscapes, meaning you can walk for miles.
Visit Castleton just ten minutes away, with a great atmosphere. The quaint town has iconic caverns and caves which are unique to the area with fascinating rock formations. You can also explore Peveril Castle built by Henry II.
While you're in the area why not explore some of the spectacular Stately Homes, including Chatsworth - the home of the Duke of Devonshire (40 minutes), Haddon Hall with iconic gardens (40 minutes) and the 17th century Eyam Hall (25 minutes).
