Galton is a relaxed family run park set on an organic farm at the gateway to the Purbeck Heritage coast area. All around you is the beauty of rural Dorset, but the urban haven of Weymouth is also within easy reach with everything you could need. Dogs are welcome to join you in your stay at the coast. Set in a spacious 20 acre field, this is a back-to-nature site for tents, campervans with tents, rooftents and trailer tents only, surrounded by mostly grass pasture either grazed by cows and their calves or cut for hay and silage to feed the livestock in winter. Guests are welcome to choose their own pitch upon arrival so that they can enjoy either privacy or stay close to friends and family.

A short drive away you've got access to ancient cliffs, boat trips, angling, fossil-hunting and hiking, biking and riding trails along the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site.
Also within easy reach there's the walkers' paradise of Ringstead Bay, with miles of footpaths to explore including a spectacular stretch of the South West Coast Path. Start from the National Trust car park and follow the trail west towards Osmington and Weymouth or east towards Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove.
