A note from the site themselves...
This is such a peaceful site with the most amazing views. Our guests regularly tell us how relaxing they found their stay at our site and how it was so helpful in re-energising them for the busy lives they lead!
Vey nice place. Toilets and showers always smell fresh. Very clean.
Shared kitchen area with lots of amenities to use. Pitch areas are very spacious. We can see why it's an adult only site as you see quite a bit of wildlife. The views are nice. Roads are quiet so good for a bike ride. Bus stop not to far away should the need to arise to go somewhere busy.
Would we stay again. Yes. Would like to see the area when it snows. Must be picturesque.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Grass PitchesMay 2025
Michelle has a great site that is immaculately looked after. She met us on arrival, opening the gates and provided clear details about the site, answered any questions and provided guidance about the best places to walk, eat & drink.
The facilities and cleanliness experienced were the best we have ever experienced during our campervan travels.
I would highly recommend a stay at 2 Hoots and will return using this site to explore more of this beautiful countryside.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass PitchesMay 2025
Absolutely idyllic location, our pitch was next to a field with sheep & new lambs with, great views of the countryside & sun all day long with lovely sunsets.
The campsite was beautifully maintained, extremely clean & the facilities were regularly checked. The kitchen was really well kitted out including a microwave, kettle & best of all an ice machine which worked well for our G&T sundowners - genius!
All the guests are very respectful of each other & it's beautifully quiet & peaceful. Each pitch is on a large plot with long grass between each one so you've got plenty of privacy. The nearest town was great & has some fantastic restaurants & cafe's and the Watercress Line is literally 5 minutes walk away.
Michelle is a great host & we will definitely go back. Highly recommended.
