Ref: 19300

Free-roaming ponies graze here at Denny Wood undisturbed, and the site is bordered by majestic oak trees giving campers an escape from everyday life. You can explore the forest easily with direct access from the site to a network of cycle paths. There are lots of ground-nesting birds on the site, so unfortunately dogs are not allowed at Denny Wood (Assistance Dogs are allowed but must be kept on a short lead).

(Please mention

A haven for nature lovers, Denny Wood is situated in a beautiful and secluded spot of the New Forest,

Made up of open grassland, under-canopy pitches and tree-lined edges, Denny Wood gives the impression of being cut off from the outside world - a camper's very own isolated piece of nature. Pitches are separated by the natural features of the land, such as ferns, oaks and fallen trees, and are frequented by the free-roaming ponies of the New Forest.

Denny Wood allows you direct access to the forest, which is ideal for all outdoor enthusiasts - the mixture of landscapes all maintained by the free roaming animals.

Made up of rich heathlands, open grasslands, rivers and of course ancient trees, it's the perfect setting for outdoor adventures on foot, on horseback or by bike, or more relaxing pursuits including photography and nature watching.

The site's 170 grass pitches are suitable for tents, trailers and caravans.
