About Jubilee Camping

What could be better than a family-run campsite on a real working farm. Enjoy the site's relaxed approach - the top priority is making sure you and your family to have an enjoyable break! The New Forest National Park is on the doorstep, or half and hour will get you into Salisbury, and 40 minutes to Bournemouth. The site offers plenty of space to explore, and a 5 minute walk will take you down to a village full of family friendly amenities. Pitches are not usually marked out as space is never at a premium. You can choose where you like and have a bit of room around you, rather than feel packed in to the nearest inch! The fields are mowed, and generally pretty flat.

The site is open for the end of May bank holiday weekend until 2nd June, the last two weekends in June, then from 26th July until 1st September.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2023

Lovely campsite on a family run farm. So much space and some lovely walks with the New Forest on your doorstep. The owners have lots on offer; a bar, hot food, feed the baby cows, fire pits. They have thought about it all. The only thing was the showers. They know they are an issue, but between us all who were staying, we had about 7 showers and only 2 were warm. I believe they are sorting this for next year. All in all, a great campsite with a lovely family vibe!

We enjoyed it

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesJul 2023

Tonnes of space, nice views, a choice of fields (one was full of kids playing loudly all day and evening, which is nice for them but not our vibe, so it was great to be able to choose a different field), the location is very calm - you will not hear any car sounds here, and the facilities are clean and in good condition. The owners are generally friendly and helpful. You can pay for stuff with cash or card which is useful. Honestly not much to say for cons, it was great Perhaps my preference would be for the toilet area to be separated men/women but not a problem really. Also, it wasn't a problem for us as we wanted to disconnect, but the signal is very patchy, so make your plans and download your maps in advance. The firewood has to be from their farm only and for £5, I think it could be cheaper or maybe give the option to pay per quantity, if you only want a couple logs? Again not a major issue. Morning coffee was fairly priced and good quality, we didn't try any of the food so cannot comment on it. Generally, I recommend it and would come back :)

Loveliest weekend!

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesJun 2023

Stayed at Jubilee campsite for 2 nights and it was wonderful. There is so much space to choose from, the toilets and showers are lovely and clean, the food they have on offer is delicious and everyone is incredibly friendly. I will absolutely stay here again - thank you all for a great weekend camping!

FAQ

Check-in is from noon till 6pm and departure is due from your tent or touring pitch by 11am on your last day.

Yep, dogs are welcome here and must be kept on a lead whilst onsite. You'll also find a number of dog walking footpaths through the local village or the New Forest is a short drive away with plenty of walks for your pooch, on or off lead!

BBQs are welcome provided they are kept raised off the ground and campfires are welcome in fire pits only (either your own or hired from the site) - firewood must be purchased from the site. Open campfires are not permitted.

Jubilee Camping can proudly say that it's a back-to-basics campsite where gadgets and gizmos can be left at home. That leaves a world of outdoor entertainment for you instead, with communal cricket sets available to play with your neighbours, and the space for you to bring your bikes and go exploring.

Why not build a den in the woodland? Or count how many different wild animals you can see during your stay?

Close by are a whole host of activities, including fly and carp fishing here in the village, or the New Forest Water Park which is just a 15 minute drive away for you thrill-seekers!

Try these great options nearby on for size:

  • Rockbourne Roman Villa Museum
  • Blashford Lakes Nature Reserve
  • Moors Valley Railway
  • Dorset Heavy Horse Farm Park
