Nestled in an idyllic setting on the south shore of Loch Leven, just outside Kinlochleven and a few miles from legendary Glencoe, Caolasnacon is the perfect base for a Highland holiday! Tents, touring caravans and motorhomes are welcome to enjoy life by the lochside, plus there are six berth static caravans for hire.
About Caolasnacon Caravan and Camping Park
This park is surrounded by the natural beauty of the mountains and overlooking Loch Leven. The site blends nicely into the surroundings, with camping and touring pitches on grass overlooking the loch. A number of 16-Amp electric hook-ups are available on a first come, first served basis. Camp fires are permitted as long as they are on the shore, not the grass. There are also spacious static caravans, which are fully equipped and sleep up to a maximum of 6 people in comfort. Each has a double bedroom, twin room and pull-out double sofa-bed in the living area. The caravans also include a toilet, shower, kitchen, tv and heating. Also, there is one lodge, sleeping four with a double and twin room, equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher and wine cooler.
Open from 1st of April or Easter, which ever comes first, and close on the last Sunday in October.
The site's well appointed facilities include free hot showers, flushing toilets and wash basins. There is also a separate dish washing area and coin-operated laundry. Calor and Camping gas are available onsite, whereas essentials can be bought from the surrounding villages (3-4 miles away).

Glencoe is just three miles away, with Fort William to the north and Oban to the south, also within easy reach.
The area is very popular with hill walkers, mountain bikers and climbers with some challenging trails amid beautiful scenery.
Watersports are popular on the loch too, whether boating and fishing or waterskiing and windsurfing.
Local wildlife include otters visiting the shore and the majestic Golden Eagle circling the sky.
