Experience camping in Glencoe, where you will discover Scotland's wildlife and some of the most beautiful scenery this country has to offer with breathtaking mountain views and riverside spots. You can set up base in one of over 100 non designated grass pitches or in head in amongst the woodlands. Some are even on the banks of the picturesque River Coe. They space is perfect for campervans or tents for a true camping feel. Alternatively, for anyone who doesn't want to bring their own tent, there are bell tents fondly named Squirrels Drey or Bidean. These 5m bell tents are complete with a table and four chairs, a wood-fired stove, a kettle, crockery, tea and coffee. Guests however need to bring their own beds and linen. A rural spot for those looking to explore the Highlands with plenty to do nearby including waterfalls, trails and the UK's highest peak - Ben Nevis (40 minutes). Campfires and BBQs are allowed and help to achieve that authentic camping experience. Please do not make your own fire pit and keep personal fire pits off the grass. Medium Tent - Non Electric Wild PitchesMar 2024

Stayed for 2 nights with my grandson. The whole site is set out beautifully to accommodate everyone, no matter how you are camping. Surrounded by stunning snow capped mountains. The birds singing, woodpeckers, owl's having a chat at night all adds to the sense of the outdoors. The amenities are great with plenty of showers/toilets. Washing machine & tumble dryer available also. Go see the lads at the burger bar. Great food, friendly & very welcoming. Overall, my first stay & not the last. Thank you to everyone who works hard to make it a success ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Wild PitchesJul 2023

From the start of our visit, we were made to feel welcome! The site is in a stunning location, the first campsite I've ever visited which allows campers to pitch where they want, if felt relaxed! We stayed a week and met many couples/ families on shorter stays. The site felt safe for the kids to play and be free to enjoy the space. The water was fun, I'd recommend wetsuits and water shoes. We will return in the not so distant future!!

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Wild PitchesApr 2024

This was the best campsite we stayed at on our trip! Everything was top notch: beautiful pitches, stunning and convenient location, lots of walks in the area, clean amenities, and very helpful and friendly staff. Watching Noodle the cat scamper around was the cherry on top. Would stay again in a heartbeat and will be recommending Red Squirrel to anyone camping in the Glencoe area!
