About Cheddar Bridge Touring Park
Cheddar Bridge Touring Park is a tranquil site offering a variety of holiday options from camping to glamping and (if you prefer a few more home comforts) static caravans next to the river, and self contained apartments. On the touring side there are 40 electric pitches with hard standing, plus a level and sheltered camping field with unmarked pitches, so you are free to choose your own spot. The site also has a number of camping pods (one dog welcome) and a refurbished 1940s gypsy caravan. The gypsy wagon has a double bed, lighting, electric sockets and TV, though you will need to bring your own camping gear and cooking equipment. Outside is a raised decking area. The site is adults-only, offering an alternative to family sites - away from ball games and bikes.
Cheddar Bridge opens in March and runs through to the end of October.
Facilities include a modern toilet block with washing up area. Sainsbury's store is 300 yards away, along with other local shops cafes and pubs just a short walk.
