The site offers a total of 16 spacious meadow pitches, all mowed into the grass for a wild camping experience. The tent pitches are either 7m or 9-12m in diameter, offering plentiful space and enjoying glorious countryside views. Wheelbarrows are given to guests to unload their vehicles, as no cars are allowed on the field in order to maintain the off-grid feel, as if camping in a peaceful nature reserve. Each pitch also comes with a dedicated space for small campfires and BBQs, ideal for evenings in the open. Glampers will also be spoilt for choice. The site offers two unfurnished bell tents (4m and 5m), each sleeping up to two adults and two children. These offer all the joys of camping but with the convenience of a pre-pitched tent, camping chairs, mats and fairy lights provided for you. If you want an extra slice of luxury, the site offers a furnished emperor bell tent, Gwenllian, which can sleep up to four, set on a decked area and equipped with a double and two single mattresses. The furnished Yurt, Elinir, can also sleep up to four, with a double and two single mattresses. This deluxe camping tent comes with a wood burner inside, perfect for the chilly nights. Each of the furnished units has a beautifully designed interior, boho soft furnishings, seating and bedside tables. Bedding for all of the bell tents can also be added for an extra charge. Two glamping cabins are also on offer. Caban Marta is located in a secluded garden. It can sleep up to two adults and one child with a comfy king-sized bed and space for a cot bed. Bell Tent - Unfurnished Bell Tent (5m, Dog Friendly)May 2026

Only stayed for 2 nights, in one of the site's pre-errected Bell Tents. Weather was amazing and site has more than your usual amenities, but still feels off-grid. Owner's Mum and Dad met us and were super helpful, especially with getting the local chippy to take our phone order before they closed at 8pm. Would stay again.

Bell Tent - Unfurnished Bell Tent (5m, Dog Friendly)Aug 2025

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Cae lal, surrounded by wildlife and beautiful views of the mountains. Adam and Bethan who run the campsite, really care about both their guests comfort and the natural environment. Their wonderful facility's are either upcycled, locally sourced or second hand, the location feels very remote despite being very accessible.. The Bell tent was amazing, exquisitely furnished with hand made wooden furniture - the bed is huge and so comfortable! We treated our selves to the spa experience and it was well worth it! The whole place has a healing positive energy, our 9 & 11 year old want to live there permanantly. We would highly recommend it and hope we can return!
