About Esholt Camping and Caravan Site
The Esholt site is set in beautiful countryside on the edge of the village of Esholt. The village found fame as the original setting of the popular ITV soap Emmerdale and is well worth a walk around, perhaps even having a pint at The Woolpack! It's a friendly and informal, back to basics campsite in a peaceful location. Pitches for tents, touring caravans and motorhomes are located on a level field, with plenty of electric hook-ups and some hardstandings too.

The site has 15 showers with plenty of hot water, toilets, a washing machine and dryer, and an area for washing up.
The park is located within the grounds of Esholt Sports and Leisure, which features a well stocked bar at very reasonable prices. The club also has a function room available for hire with or without their onsite catering.

Site rules and policies
Dogs are welcome, however for the benefit of other campers we cannot permit any breeds registered on the dangerous dogs act.
Things to do on site and in the Bradford area
As well as the many locations within the village made famous by Emmerdale, the area is a great outdoors venue for walkers. The beautiful Yorkshire Dales are within easy reach, as are the towns of Otley, Ilkley and Skipton. For larger towns and shopping opportunities, Leeds, Bradford and Harrogate have all the major retailers.
Bradford and Leeds boast many interesting sites including The National Museum of Film and Photography, and The Royal Armouries.
A couple of miles away in the famous village of Saltaire is The David Hockney Art Gallery and Mill Shops. The original Harry Ramsden's Fish and Chip restaurant is only a few minutes away by car.
For golfers, there is a world class golf club nearby, and there is a golf driving range at the end of Esholt Lane.
