This family friendly lakeside park is set within 53 acres of woodland, lakes and countryside. With waterside views and plenty of onsite activities, it's a great place for both relaxing breaks and action-packed adventures. There are 7m x 4m grass pitches available with both non electric and 16 amp electric options. These pitches are suitable for tents, campervans and caravans. The tent pitches are set within the main site close to the facilities, or there is a separate tent only field with lots of space next to a fenced wildlife lake, which is along a short lane from the main lake, ideal for those wanting to be away from it all. For tourers, there are also level electric hardstanding 7m x 4m pitches with 16 amp hook-ups. The onsite Lakeside Cafe is great for breakfast, lunch or a snack by the water. Guests can enjoy everything from full English breakfasts and wraps to sandwiches, salads, jacket potatoes and homemade treats. The park is home to watersports hire, including paddleboards, kayaks, pedalos and even catamarans. In summer, the floating, inflatable aqua park is available with climbing walls, slides and obstacle challenges, while open water swimming sessions are also available for those wanting to take a dip. For a day out, the historic city of York is only 25 minutes away. Visitors can explore its cobbled streets and famous landmarks like York Minster, museums and the National Railway Museum York. BBQs are welcome in the camping field only, as long as they are raised well off the ground to protect the grass. Open fires are not permitted. Up to three dogs are welcome per pitch, with plenty of lakeside and woodland walks to enjoy around the park.

The Lakeside Cafe is open Tuesday to Sunday for breakfast and lunch, with menu options including a full English, breakfast bagels, sandwiches, jacket potatoes and treats like sausage rolls and scones. There is a decked waterside seating area and a covered marquee area.

A variety of bookable watersports are available (extra cost). These include the inflatable aqua park (May to September), open water swimming and watersport hire, including paddle boards, kayaks, pedalos, a catamaran and wetsuits. Day tickets are available for the three acre coarse fishing lake. Open water swimming sessions are also held daily.

Within a ten minute drive, there is a Shell, Aldi and Sainsbury's for picking up essentials. The Plough Inn is also a 25 minute walk away.

Things to do on site and in the Pocklington area

For onsite fun, there is a giant inflatable obstacle course on the lake (open during summer), which includes features like the Thunderdome and Gravity Corners. It's packed with climbing walls, slides and balance challenges, making it a brilliant activity for some splash-filled fun!

Guests can also hire paddle boards, kayaks, pedalos and even a catamaran to explore the lake. Wetsuits are available too, making it easy for beginners and experienced visitors alike to get involved.

For those who enjoy swimming, the park offers daily open water swimming sessions. The man-made lake has a sandy bottom and is relatively shallow, which helps the water warm up nicely in summer. Fishing fans are well catered for as well, with day tickets available for the three-acre coarse fishing lake.
