A note from the site themselves...

We (Shaun and Babette Pye) bought Killerby Hall in 2019. With three young children, Oscar, Matilda and Beala, we wanted to be around and spend school holidays with them as they grow up. What better place for the children to grow up in unique, rural, beautiful surroundings.

Both from Scarborough, most of our family also live in Scarborough and surrounding villages. Owning something like this has always been a dream and when Killerby Old Hall came up for sale, it was a dream come true.

We've spent the last two years renovating the cottages and caravan site and adding luxury lakeside lodges and an onsite bar called The Barn. We have many more plans to make what is already a beautiful place an even more special one!

The site is close to all the major tourist attractions in the including Scarborough, where you can wander around pretty Peasholm Park, roam a dramatic castle and take the kids to Scarborough Sea Life Sanctuary. The North Bay Railway is a very sweet miniature railway that runs nearby and of course on warm days South Bay Beach is a must see.

The Edwardian charms of Filey are also nearby. It's an ideal location for walkers to join the Cleveland Way and birdwatchers will find amazing wildlife at Bempton Cliffs. The beach in Filey is also gorgeous, perfect for sunset strolls.

If you'd rather escape completely into nature, you can explore the beauty of the coastline and the North York Moors, a stunning national park.
