Both campers and tourers are welcome and there are a mix of grass and hardstanding pitches available, some with electric. Surrounded by picturesque countryside, this is a lovely base for exploring nearby trails and hikes.

About The Dales Camping and Caravanning
Situated on the edge of the stunning Yorkshire Dales, relax in peace as you pitch your tent or park your motorhome at this rural setting. This truly is an idyllic spot for some much needed quiet time. There are both grass and hardstanding pitches for campers and tourers to choose from. Some of these have electric hook-up and are all surrounded by lovely countryside. Idyllically located on the edge of a stunning reservoir, a great place for reflecting by the waters' edge. Dogs are welcome and as there are lots of nearby walks, this is a great place to holiday with your four-legged pals. Fire pits are allowed and can be provided, but please raise them off the grass.
Open from 21 January to 31 December
There are shower and toilet facilities onsite as well as a kids playground. There is a small shop in the reception building that stocks, toasting marshmallows, wine, lagers, lighters, tent pegs and plastic cutlery.
Leyburn is a five mile drive away and here you'll find a co-op for more basic supplies. Just a ten minute walk away is pub The Queens Head, a great spot for an evening meal.
