The park is ideal for guests looking to relax in tranquil North Yorkshire site surroundings - with 40 spacious pitches, plus water and electric connections for every pitch. All pitches are hardstanding with a grassed area. Beechwood's 8 acres offer privacy and shelter thanks to mature trees and well kept hedgerows and there is plenty of space between pitches. Here you'll find the ideal mix of country and coast, with the fun of an afternoon in the city always at your fingertips.

The site facilities offer male, female and unisex/family washrooms complete with full height showers, wash basins and toilets. Hot water and showers are free of charge onsite, and there is also an external dish washing area as well as a dedicated chemical toilet disposal area, waste disposal area and recycling facilities.
A public footpath runs alongside the site which follows a disused railway line towards Huntington and the Toby Carvery at Hopgrove (half a mile).

Site rules and policies
Bookings and Payments - full payment is required at the time of booking and reservations are not confirmed until payment is received. Cancellations are subject to a £25 admin fee.
No arrival until 1pm on the day of arrival. Please advise us in advance of any arrival which will be after 6pm.
On departure, sites to be vacated by 12 noon unless agreed prior to departure date.
Group bookings - No more than 3 pitches per group. If found on arrival to have made individual booking and then form a group, you may be asked to leave the park.
Minimum Stays - minimum of 1 night mid-week, 2 nights weekends and 3 nights across Bank and Public Holidays.
Fires/BBQs - No open fires of any kind are permitted. Barbecues are permitted, but must not be turned into an open fire after use and must be kept off the ground.
Please note dogs to be kept on a lead and closely supervised at all times whilst on site and not to be left unattended. Please pick up after them using the allocated dog waste bins.
No commercial vehicles allowed.
No loud music is to be played at anytime that may cause a nuisance to the other occupiers on the site. No unnecessary noise between 11pm and 8am.
No fireworks to be set off on any part of the site.
No Chinese candle parachutes or similar devices allowed.
No car or caravan washing on the site.
Children to be kept under close supervision at all times.
All rubbish to be placed in the bins provided and recycling in the correct boxes.
Behaviour - Whilst on the park please respect other guests and their property.
The owner reserves the right to refuse entry, or eject from the site any person causing a nuisance or disturbance to the Proprietor or other clients on the site.
Beechwood Caravan Park York accepts no responsibility or liability for loss or damage to cars, caravans and any such vehicles left on the premises.
Things to do on site and in the York area
York is buzzing with things to keep you busy, offering plenty of history, great shopping and tasty restaurants.
If the kiddies need some adrenaline and excitement, drive them to the Flamingo Land theme park - less than an hour away. Castle Howard is within a half hour's drive, where you'll find luxurious interiors, beautiful gardens and more.
