Moor End Farm is small and family run, offering a very handy base for you to explore the city of York - its historic centre is only 15 minutes away. Cyclists will love the York to Selby cycle track which is very close and you can have more car-free adventures with the York Park and Ride. A five minute stroll takes you to the river bus or pretty riverside walks, fuelled by the excellent local inn.

About Moor End Farm

Well established and dating back to the 1960s this park is a family friendly space set in countryside but with excellent access to York which starts only 4 miles away. Pitches are set on grass with electric available and plenty of space between you and your neighbour. Tents and tourers are welcome. You'll find a clean and well maintained setting with picnic tables thoughtfully spaced out so that you can eat in the open air. Well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome.

Facilities and amenities

The site provides hot showers, toilets with disabled access, a sink for dish washing, a fridge freezer and microwave oven. Free WiFi is available.

Boats can be launched nearby and there are a range of pubs, shops and cafes. Local inn only 10 mins away.

Great bus services make it very easy to get to York without the car and you'll find yourself with plenty to do there - starting with gorgeous York Minster, browsing the iconic Shambles and checking out the battles of yesterday at the Jorvik Viking Centre.
