The Orchards Holiday Park is a family-run park in Newbridge, West Wight. It is situated in a rural location amongst some of the most beautiful countryside the island has to offer, with spectacular, panoramic views, less than 10 minutes from the islands outstanding coastline and beaches.

The 5-pennant park was voted overall winner of the Top 100 sites award by the readers of Practical Caravan for 2015 and 2016, it has also been voters Campsite of the Year for the South East by The AA.

There are 160 pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, marked and arranged across three paddocks. Some are terraced, some level and some gently sloping - and all have wonderful views.

There are also 60 holiday caravans situated in a separate area, carefully arranged among trees and shrubs, and connected by pathways. Most have central heating and double glazing. Some have patio doors leading onto a decking area with outdoor furniture.

From Yarmouth take the A3054 TO Newport, after 3 miles, turn right at The Horse and Groom Inn. Follow signs to Newbridge.

From East Cowes and Fishbourne, head to Newport and follow signs to Yarmouth on A3054. After 6 miles pass through Shalfleet village. After 1/2 mile turn left at the Horse and Groom Inn. Follow signs to Newbridge.

There is an impressive facilities centre, with large family shower and washbasin cubicles, toilets, washing up area, laundry, drying room, vanity area, accessible bathroom and babies bathroom. We also have indoor and outdoor heated pools and poolside coffee shop, games room with pool tables and table tennis, a dog walking area, large shop, take-away and Wi-Fi for a small fee. The number 7 bus goes past the entrance hourly, taking you to Freshwater, Newport and Yarmouth, where you can catch connecting buses to other parts of the Island.

The site is in a great location for accessing footpaths and cycleways, with maps available in reception. there are beautiful sandy beaches, attractions, wildlife, outdoor activities, historic buildings and excellent pubs and restaurants.

Nearby is Chesill Pottery, where you can make your own pot and enjoy the best cream tea on the Island.

Yarmouth, a picturesque harbour town, is 10 minutes away and has a castle, supermarket, art gallery, shops and cafe's to enjoy.

Other local attractions include:

  • Newtown Creek, a national nature reserve (10 minutes)
  • Brook, where you can hunt for fossils (10 minutes)

The following price list is for non-package holidays. All pitches have plug in 8 amp electricity supply at no charge.

  • £18.00 minimum per night (includes pitch fee + 2 persons)

25th May to 26th July 2018

  • £23.00 minimum per night (includes pitch fee + 2 persons)
  • £3.25 per child per night
  • £6.50 per extra adult per night


27th July to 28th August 2018

  • £35.00 minimum per night (includes pitch fee + 2 persons)
  • £3.75 per child per night
  • £8.10 per adult per night


Optional extras

  • Water serviced pitch (hardstanding and individual water and waste water point) £4.30 per night
  • Awning/gaebo: no Charge but MUST be pre-booked
  • Bedroom extension: £2.60 per night (MUST be pre-booked)
  • Pup tent: £2.60 per night
  • Dog: 2 dogs free, with extra dogs charged at £2.00 per dog per night


A cancellation scheme (available at the time of booking only) has a fee of £1.75 per pitch per night. Payable with deposit. See conditions of booking.

Deposits £50 per pitch per week or part of.

We welcome your arrival after 1400 hrs and before 2200hrs. We request that you depart from your pitch by 1100 hrs

Maximum of 6 guests to occupy unit per pitch.

Only one car to be parked on pitch. additional cars to be parked in the car park.
