Five Wyches Farm Camping Certificated Site is a secluded, comfortable site bordered by trees and away from the road. It's a great place to take a laid back break close to the beautiful Dartmoor National Park. Enjoy camping in a tent or caravan, or glamping in a shepherd's hut, Romany wagon or bell tent.
About the site
Five Wyches Farm campsite is right on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, making it the ideal base for exploring the area yet within easy walking distance of the town of Bovey Tracey and only eight miles from the coast. A sheltered field surrounded by trees provides space for tents and touring caravans, with great views of the countryside and three electric hook ups. For glampers there is a charming shepherd's hut with modern day comforts. It's fully insulated and stays nice and cosy, with a large double bed (all linen supplied), lighting and electricity. Those seeking something more rustic will find two Romany style wagons with a double bed in each, as well as two bell tents - each with a double bed and two singles. Visitors enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of being able to sit round a fire in the evenings, cooking out of doors and the lovely small site atmosphere, which is never too busy or overcrowded. The campsite is dog friendly and the surrounding area is great for dog walks.
Camping opening dates are weather dependant, being a grass site, but generally from April to October and the shepherd's hut is available all year.

The campsite is run through Freedom Camping.
* We ask that tents/caravans pitch a resonable distance apart, for safety reasons.
* This is a dog friendly site, therefore we expect owners to pick up after their dogs, and not to leave them unattended.
There are often sheep in the next field so dogs must be under control.
* To respect other campers and be noise considerate, no loud music after 10 pm
* Recycle all waste in bins provided
* No generators
