About the site
Set on the grounds of an old dairy farm the pods are placed in opposite corners of the site, giving each privacy as they overlook the pond. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the Yorkshire countryside just a 20 minute journey to York. Should you wish to head out and explore catch the bus that runs directly past the site, do note that the bus does not run on Sundays. The pods all have spacious interiors, Glencroft and Chaplins Club both feature two rooms, a bedroom with an ensuite and a kitchen/lounge area and Bowcliffe and Paddywack have one large living area with double bed, sofa bed, kitchen and living/dining area as well as ensuite bathroom. They all sleep four, with the sofa bed ideal for two children but can accommodate adults too. The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, fridge, two-ringed hob, toaster, kettle and all utensils and cutlery you will need for your stay. Doors lead to a large private decking area with seating, a BBQ/fire pit, and the added benefit of a private hot tub. The first basket of logs will be supplied too! Each pod has been furnished to a high standard. With underfloor heating and mod cons such as TV, LED lights and USB sockets. Plus Chaplins Club and Glencroft pods have Bluetooth speakers and an additional TV in the bedroom. You can be sure to receive a warm welcome to get your stay off to a great start as a welcome basket awaits on arrival. For larger families or group getaways hire all of the pods for the exclusive use of the site. If you are celebrating a special occasion during your stay, you can add the special occasion package on to your booking and enjoy cake, fizz and decorations! Dogs are more than welcome onsite with a max of two in any of the pods.
