About the site

This award winning, family run park is set on a working country farm nestled in the Yorkshire countryside. Perfect for a family getaway, the site has wonderful facilities, including a shop, cafe, and playground. There are a total of 66 non electric grass pitches, each welcoming tents only, with 16 allowing up to six guests and 50 that allow up to four. All of the pitches are level, with plenty of space for everyone to enjoy some peace and quiet. For tent campers, there are a further six grass pitches with six amp electric hook up. If bringing your tourer, there are 55 hardstanding pitches too, each with a 10 amp hook up and also welcoming six guests each. If glamping is more your style, the site's bell tents sleep a family of four with a chic furnished interior, a double bed and comfy futons. In the site's peaceful surroundings, you'll find a herd of gentle cows and fields where wheat, barley and maize are grown. The park is set within 15 acres and is only 15 minutes from Dalby Forest, and only ten minutes to the market town of Pickering. For evenings of al fresco cooking, BBQs are welcome, though disposable BBQs must not sit directly on the grass. Please note that campfires and fire pits are not allowed. Dogs are also welcome to join you, with up to three allowed per pitch. There is even an expansive dog walking area with glorious views and a dog wash for if their paws get a little mucky. The bell tents are pet free.

Vale of Pickering Caravan Park is open from 01/01 to 01/01 and 02/03 to 31/10. Pitches from £22/night for 2 people.

A note from the site themselves...

Our site is family owned and run, and we have been providing touring and camping holidays since back in 1985. Our family has always been involved in farming and, when looking to diversify into tourism, we originally opened with five caravans in the corner of the field.

Over the years, we have slowly grown and developed, turning into the award winning park that we are today. With continual investment, love, passion and hard work, we ensure our grounds and facilities are kept in tip-top condition so that our guests can have a memorable stay. We can't wait to welcome you, the Stockdale family
