A note from the site themselves...

Stephen (my husband) and our family bought the farm in 2009 and have slowly renovated the farm into a mixture of luxury, self-catering properties and glamping, along with our family home. We own many acres surrounding the farm, and the local farmer now farms this land.

We are committed to preserving the natural beauty of our site and have purchased the field to the left of the entrance drive to the caravan site. Our goal is to keep it as nature intended and promote a return of natural habitats for different species.

We have also developed a pond, hoping to encourage the return of natural habitats and species. If you're lucky, you may even catch a glimpse of owls taking a nighttime flight.

We look forward to welcoming you soon,

Penny

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesApr 2024

This site is absolutely gorgeous. We came for the climbing and were right in the centre of all the crags, but there's lovely pubs and villages too. The location is just fantastic. Nice and quiet out in the middle of the country. The owner is really lovely and is happy to help with anything. The facilities are basic but lovely. A clean and warm toilet with hot showers and no spiders, a convenient place to wash up. They have no electricity hook-ups or other facilities, but this was all we needed. They even have this little fire pit service where you can rent a fire pit for the night. With firewood, kindling and firelighters it's only £15. Very convenient and nice for an evening's entertainment when camping. This site is perfect for tents. We stayed when the weather was dreadful, so the field was a bit muddy, but it was absolutely fine. Crocs to the rescue! Really just can't recommend this site enough, we wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Great place to visit Peak District

Motorhome - Non Electric Grass PitchesOct 2023

We enjoyed our stay at Brosterfield. Clean and open site with facilities that are being developed: should be great place to stay once complete. Owner and local farmer were excellent, helping us when we got stuck on our way out.

Lovely

Motorhome - Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2023

Great open site, pub within half a mile and safe to walk to. Would be amazing with a toilet and shower facilities but I think these are planned soon. Would stay again.
