Set on the South Pembrokeshire coast road, Oasis Camping offers a family and dog friendly camping or stopover base, just a five minute drive from Tenby. Beside the A4139, there's plenty of room so you won't be tripping over neighbouring guy ropes! There's also a bar and reception where you can grab breakfast or enjoy a refreshing evening drink. Penally Station is a 20 minute walk away, making it easy to explore the area.

About the site

Set alongside the A4139 coast road in South Pembrokeshire, this campsite offers distant sea views towards Tenby South Beach, a five minute drive away. It's well placed for exploring the area, with Penally railway station and the taxi rank a 20 minute walk away and a bus stop just 100 metres from the entrance, making it easy to get around without a car. The camping field has a mix of flat and gently sloping grass pitches, with space for around 20 pitches and 16 amp electric hook ups. These are suitable for tents and VW-sized campervans, while larger motorhomes are better suited to the pub car park for a stopover. Hard road access makes arrival straightforward, and a facilities building is onsite. A torch is recommended for the pathway between the camping field and the facilities block. Dogs are welcome to join your stay.

The site is open from Easter until mid September.

Guests have access to a facilities block with toilets and showers via a short pathway from the camping field. There is coded 24-hour access with free hot and cold water. Additional toilets are available at the edge of the camping field.

A laundry room has a washing and drying machine and kitchen sinks for washing up. Free WiFi is available.

The Oasis Reception and Bar offers great value breakfasts and a selection of drinks. The Cross Inn and the New Overlander Inn are both a 15 minute walk away.

Site rules and policies

* Check-in is between 2pm and 10pm. Late arrivals need to be pre-arranged. Check out is no later than 11am.

* There is a quiet policy after 11pm.

* Vehicles are not allowed to enter the camping field between 11pm and 7am. During these hours, the lower car park is available as an alternative.

Things to do on site and in the Tenby area

The popular coastal town of Tenby is a five minute drive away, with plenty of attractions and activities to enjoy. Take a boat trip to St Catherine's Island or Caldey Island, or explore the remains of Tenby Castle.

There are also surfing opportunities along the coast, while Tenby Museum and Art Gallery offers a more relaxed way to spend the afternoon.

For families, Manor Wildlife Park is a ten minute drive away, or younger campers can enjoy a day out at The Dinosaur Park, five minutes away. Folly Farm is a 20 minute drive away, with plenty to keep the whole crew entertained.
