About the site
The site is set in the countryside and is just a ten minute walk to the local village of Rudston, with several footpaths and bridleways to explore (ideal if you're staying with your four-legged friends). The coast is also just a ten minute drive away, and for some wonderful wildlife spotting, Flamborough Head is a 20 minute drive away, and if you're lucky, you might even spot the puffins. Sheltered within the walls are 52 spacious 8m x 12m grass pitches, all with 16 amp electric hook-up. Each pitch welcomes up to six guests with WiFi included (signal cannot be guaranteed), and access to a TV aerial socket, but guests will need to bring a long coax cable with them. If glamping is more your thing, you can stay in one of the comfortable 5m bell tents, Barn Owl and Kingfisher. Perfect for couples, the bell tents are equipped with a double bed, a chest of drawers a bistro table and chairs and a power point for charging all devices. Outside, there are two deck chairs and a fire pit, perfect for al fresco dining in the evenings. There is a large games field where guests can play cricket, football, frisbee, fly kites or simply relax and enjoy a family picnic. It is also a popular area for walking dogs as the footpath will take you directly to the village. There is also an onsite coarse fishing pond (licence, terms and charges apply). BBQs are allowed onsite but must be raised off the ground. Up to three dogs can also join you for your stay, with plenty of surrounding walks and a large onsite field to stretch their paws.
The site is open between March and November, bell tents are available between Easter and September. Pitches from £27/night for 2 people.
