Enjoy a family campsite owned by the same hardworking family unit for 70 years, with 24 hour site staffing for your peace of mind. The site is ranked as one of the longest running sites in Devon, and rightly renowned for its surfing and beautiful beach. Benefit from the small community atmosphere of just 20 grassy pitches, all with great views over Devon's stunningly green hills. The Orchard does not change prices for the holiday season and so is the ideal way to make the most of the beach, surf and beautiful countryside that Devon offers. Pet friendly too, there is ample space for active dogs to roam.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
The Orchard Campsite wants the best for its campers. Whether your stay is centred around beach & surf activities or you're simply taking the time to kick back, relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings, we're keen to make every effort to ensure the site is peaceful for your stay.
We welcome couples, small families and some well behaved groups. Like-minded people wanting to have a great time and enjoy the north Devon beaches. The campsite owners, Steve & Adele are a young couple who make every effort to run a relaxed and quiet site, but they're keen to ensure all campers have fun to ensure a pleasant and happy stay.
Therefore, this means we have a number of site "rules":
Tent Size
Small/medium 2/4 person capacity. No large framed tents or gazebos or additional awnings. We reserve the right to refuse the erection of large tents, but contact the team to check if your tent is suitable our pitches are 5m wide x 12m deep approx.
Camper Vans
Vans such as VW campers are acceptable (or similar) awnings must fit on the pitch 5mx12m. We do not have electric hook ups.
Caravans
Sorry no caravans.
Trade Vans
Small vans (Preferably no high tops, but contact us for further details)
Pitch Size
At peak times space is at a premium and tents will be pitched fairly close together.
Electric hook ups
Sorry we do not have electric hook ups. Phone & laptop batteries may be charged at reception.
Dogs
Strictly dogs on lead at all times, we reserve the right to ask badly behaved dogs and owners to leave.
Groups
We take a maximum of 12 in a mixed group & we ask that groups make every effort to respect the quiet nature of the site. (Please note, larger groups can be acceptable on request).This makes our site unsuitable for Hen or Stag nights.
