A quiet and peaceful site just ten minutes from Bridlington sea front, Thorpe Hall Caravan and Camping Site is a rural and tranquil site located within the walls of the old kitchen gardens at Thorpe Hall Estate. An excellent base to explore the attractions of East Yorkshire, the site offers electric grass pitches suitable for trailer tents, motorhomes and tourers. There are also two cosy 5m bell tents, perfect for couples.

About the site
The site is set in the countryside and is just a ten minute walk into the local village of Rudston with several footpaths and bridleways to explore (ideal if you're staying with your four-legged friends). The coast is also just a ten minute drive away and for some wonderful wildlife spotting, Flamborough Head is a 20 minute drive away and if you're lucky you might even spot the puffins. Sheltered within the walls are 52 spacious 8m x 12m grass pitches all with 16 amp electric hook-up. Each pitch welcomes up to six guests with WiFi included (signal cannot be guaranteed) and access to TV aerial socket but guests will need to bring a long coax cable with them. If glamping is more your thing, you can stay in one of the comfortable 5m bell tents, Barn Owl and Kingfisher. Perfect for couples, the bell tents are equipped with a double bed, a chest of drawers a bistro table and chairs and a power point for charging all devices. Outside there are two deck chairs and a fire pit, perfect for al fresco dining in the evenings. There is a large games field where guests can play cricket, football, frisbee, fly kites or simply relax and enjoy a family picnic. It is also a popular area for walking dogs as the footpath will take you directly to the village. There is also an onsite coarse fishing lake (licence, terms and charge apply). BBQs are allowed onsite but must be raised off the ground. Up to three dogs can also join you for your stay, with plenty of surrounding walks and a large onsite field to stretch their paws.

Great site at a handy location for the coast and the Wolds countryside. Excellent local pub 5mins walk with interesting history and archaeology in the village.

Just spent a night on route to visit a friend and would highly recommend this campsite.Neil and his Wife who manage the site where excellent hosts.We will be going back to stay longer this year.Its a great location for exploring and visiting the east coast.The site and facilities were spotless and well maintained even though Neil is struggling with his Knee lol.Thank you both and see you soon Pete,Emma & Katie.ps please make sure they both receive the feedback they deserve it.

Beautiful, peaceful site, well laid out and well maintained. Facilities were spotless, good hot showers with a hand turn on and unlimited. Even the dogs are catered for with a nice big field. There are also some walks from the site. We will definitely be booking another stay here.
