About the site

This dog friendly camping and caravan park is next door to a country park and enjoys direct access to Filey Beach. Set across nine acres, it's a great base for exploring the Yorkshire Coast and the town of Filey, which is just a 15 minute walk away and home to a number of pubs and restaurants, plus a beach paddling pool! There's a total of 145 pitches onsite. For campers, there's non electric grass pitches for tents. Whilst caravans, motorhomes, trailer tents and campervans can choose between electric grass or electric hardstanding pitches. All pitches allow up to eight guests per pitch. The country park next door has plenty for little ones to discover, with a play park and lots of space to run and play. Several events take place here throughout the year, including the Filey Food Festival, celebrating the best local food and drink produce in the area. There's also a café here and access to the Cleveland Way, ideal for walkers. The North York Moors National Park is just a 20 minute drive away, too. Your four legged friends are more than welcome, with up to two dogs allowed per pitch and miles of coastal paths for them to explore. Raised BBQs are allowed.

Tent pitches available from 30th March to 12th April and then 1st July till 31st August. Electric Grass Pitches and Hardstanding Pitches available from 2nd February to 3rd January.

Facilities include two heated amenity blocks with toilets and showers, including accessible facilities. These are accessed via a fob, which you will be given upon arrival for a £10 refundable deposit and are accessible 24 hours a day.

There's an onsite laundry, washing up area and gas exchange, as well as a shop selling snacks, drinks (including tea and coffee) and confectionery, as well as camping essentials.

The site is next door to the country park with a children's play area, cafe and lots of space for dog walks.

Several pubs and restaurants can be found a five minute drive or 15 minute walk away in Filey, there's also a supermarket too.

There are several seasonal events that happen in the country park throughout the year. The Filey Kite Festival is at the end of September, the Yorkshire Buggy Weekend is held at the end of August and the Trackrod Rally is held at the end of September. It is also home to the Filey Food Festival, held four times a year.

*Single sex groups and large American sized motorhomes are not accepted

*Pets and dogs must not be left unattended at any time

*With all bookings you receive a 14 day money back guarantee. If you need to cancel your booking within 14 days of the date shown on your booking summary you will receive a full refund (including deposit).

Things to do on site and in the Filey area

There's lots to do right on your doorstep here, with several events taking place onsite each year, including the Filey Food Festival, which runs four times a year.

Next door to the park is Filey Brigg Country Park, with cliff top trails, picnic spots and a children's play area. It's a top choice for walkers, with the many cliff paths around Filey Brigg and along the Cleveland Way, offering beautiful sea views.

With direct access to Filey Beach, this site is a great pick for a coastal break, with miles of sandy beach and rockpools to explore at low tide. The area is also excellent for seabird spotting at Filey Dams Nature Reserve, just a five minute drive away, so make sure to pack your binoculars!

The seaside town of Filey is a 15 minute walk from the site, with fresh fish and chips, ice cream and seafront cafes dotted along the seafront, as well as a beach paddling pool. Learn about Filey's maritime history at Filey Museum, a 15 minute walk away, or take a peaceful walk through Glen Gardens with a boating lake and cafe, within a five minute drive.

Filey Bird Garden and Animal Park is also a hit with little ones, with exotic birds, beautiful gardens and friendly animals to meet, a five minute drive away. The North York Moors Country Park is also just 20 minutes away and offers walking, cycling, historic sites and villages to explore.
